In this task I’ve explored Animate which is a software that allows you to create and bring your design assets to life through motion moving image that can be achieved through simple commands. I was assigned to create a web-based advert/infographic around an imaginary night club or a music venue. I decided to go with an idea of a music venue infographic based around the famous artist Kanye West. The animation begins with open curtains revealing the main stage which I’ve illustrated in photoshop with illustrative details such as the speakers and stage lighting. The idea behind the infographic was to reveal four of Kanye’s albums that will be performed at this event, each album has it’s own time slot therefore I’ve incorporated interactivity through a button function that is applied to the four different time slots hat appear on the big screen, as the you click one of the time slots it reveals one of Kanye’s album as the stage’s appearance changes depending on the albums cover design colour.
